The Volunteer Firefighter is a non-compensated position. Our volunteer firefighters protect the community in a wide range of emergency situations. The Volunteer Fire Department may be called upon to deliver fire suppression, emergency medical assistance, search and rescue, hazardous material responses, and public education to the citizens of the Village of Chama.
